Leadership Development
The Junior League of Gwinnett & North Fulton Counties (JLGNF) will be offering Time Management training on Tuesday January 10, 2012 from 6:00-6:30pm prior to our General Membership Meeting. The training will be led by special speaker Sara Fisher, founder of A Simple Space and past Vice President of National Society of Professional Organizers. Announcements
Due to Valentine's Day falling on a Tuesday, the February General Membership Meeting will be on Wednesday February 15, 2012.The Junior League of Gwinnett & North Fulton Counties (JLGNF) will be joining all of the Georgia Junior Leagues for the State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) Day at the Capitol. The event will be held at the Georgia State Capitol on Tuesday February 21, 2012 fro 9am-2pm. Throughout the day, members will have the opportunity to hear speakers discussing current issues that Georgia SPAC is lobbying for. Georgia's First Lady Mrs. Deal will be participating in the event to help us speak out about the childhood obesity epidemic in Georgia. Following the event, volunteers are invited to observe some of the General Assembly discussion. For 25 years, The Junior League of Gwinnett & North Fulton Counties (JLGNF) has been a positive force for change in women and children issues in our local communities. Through our IMPACT projects, community partnerships, State Public Affairs Committee and volunteer events, the League provides over 5,000 hours of direct service to the community each year. Read More
