Training
Remember to add stretching into your fitness program! Stretching is often overlooked in a training program, but it has many benefits. First it allows for faster recovery. During exercise lactic acid develops within the muscle cell, stretching helps buffer the lactic acid out of the muscle aiding in muscle recovery. Stretching also helps increase the range of motion around joints. This in turn will increase the efficiency in your stairclimbing. Tight muscles cannot contract properly therefore you will not be as powerful climbing stairs. Stretching helps prevent injury. Tight muscles cannot move or contract properly and will eventually cause a strain or sprain. Stretch after the workout, not before. For more information become a member!
