About High Heels & High Times
High Heels & High Times (HHHT) is the Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties’ (JLGNF) largest fundraiser and features a ladies’ brunch, fashion show, silent auction and fabulous opportunity to shop with local vendors. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and supporters, HHHT raised more than $15,000 to benefit the Strong Girls, Bright Futures self-esteem program and other League initiatives in 2016. With an expected attendance of 250, JLGNF has set a goal of raising $25,000 this year.
Strong Girls, Bright Futures Workshop
The most highly anticipated aspect of HHHT is the Strong Girls, Bright Futures Workshop. 50 girls in grades six through eight will participate in the one-day self-esteem workshop and receive complete training on nutrition, wellness, personal safety and financial literacy. The workshop is part of the Strong Girls, Bright Futures program, which teaches girls how to be intelligent, strong, confident, creative, unique and accomplished so that they feel secure, make positive choices and think critically about the world around them. Workshop attendees will also take part in the HHHT fashion show.
The HHHT silent auction is another exciting feature of the event, in part because of the large array of items available for bidding. JLGNF is seeking all types of donations valued at $50 or more. All of the funds raised from the auction will contribute to the $25,000 fundraising goal.
